At Croydon, we've developed a post-consumer program focused on the full lifecycle of our PVC boots, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Our products are certified with ISO 9001 and meet ASTM F 2892-17 and ASTM F 2413-17 standards.
As a country with one of the most diverse ecosystems globally, Colombia has a responsibility to protect its natural resources. We take this responsibility seriously, particularly in our production of safety boots. Our initiative focuses specifically on PVC boots and aligns with Bogotá's Air Decontamination Plan, aimed at improving air quality for both the environment and public health.
By collecting used PVC boots, we ensure they are properly recycled rather than left to decompose over hundreds of years or, worse, burned, which releases harmful emissions. Here are our achievements so far:
- We've recovered over 2,000 kg of PVC material, reused in the production of our safety boots.
- More than 52,635 kg of material and over 33,266 pairs of Croydon PVC boots have been recycled.
Our post-consumer program not only reduces waste but also prevents toxic emissions that can result from improper disposal, such as open-air burning, which releases dangerous dioxins and furans.
We invite you to join this environmentally sustainable initiative. By recycling your used PVC boots, you'll also receive exclusive benefits on your next purchase with us.
